WIA - Practice Schedule Shift and First Dual Meets of the Season
Hello Shark Families!
Here is your Week 3 Edition of the Week in Advance (WIA) for our beloved Sharks. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves at Time Trials this past Saturday. We will be starting our first Fairfax Development (FDL) and NVSL dual meets this week. Details regarding our meets and other items below.
TEAM PICTURES
Firstly, we are currently working on rescheduling our team pictures to a better day for everyone’s camp schedules. We will provide updates when we have a new date and time.
PRACTICES
After school practices conclude on Tuesday and we switch to primarily earning morning practices starting on Thursday.
Monday – no practice (FDL B Meet at Villa)
Tuesday – Evening Practices all swimmers
Wednesday – no practices (last day of school)
Thursday – first morning practices of the summer, also the first of our summer evening practices (combined age groups starting at 6pm)
Friday – morning practices and fun Fridays begin - come hungry pancakes will be served!

Monday, June 10 - FDL B Meet at Villa
All Swimmers should arrive by 5:15pm for check-ins. Warmup begins at 5:30 pm sharp!

Saturday, June 15 - NVSL Meet vs Hollin Meadows

We are hosting Hollin Meadows this Saturday for our first NVSL A meet of the season. More details regarding the meet in the coming days. In the meantime – if you know your swimmer is unavailable for the meet please mark them accordingly. The coaches and our data team will be working on the first draft of our meet sheet Tuesday evening so it is important we know everyone’s availability to reduce the amount of changes we need to make. Be sure to mark your relay status if you need to leave the meet early or provide any other important details using the notes field.
WINTER SWIM
We have seen amazing time drops from our swimmers who participated in the Snow Sharks this past offseason. Interested in joining next offseason??
