It’s hard to believe since it was snowing this week (again!) that planning is underway for the 2026 swim season! We can’t wait to see all your kids back in the pool. Here are some updates as we get things moving:

1. We are excited to welcome Emma Mont back as our Head Coach this year! Looking forward to seeing the team grow under her leadership this summer. We also want to extend a warm welcome to Becky Anderson as our Assistant Coach. Becky is currently a Makos’s coach and will be focusing on our Mini’s and 8 & Under Swimmers.
2. Registration for the pool memberships AND swim team will both be opening on March 14th, be on the look out for emails with links to register. Note that it is two separate registrations. If you have any questions about swim team registration, please contact Amit Hickman ([email protected]). Please note that pool membership is required for swim team participation.
3. We are looking to fill a couple key volunteer positions, Team Photographer and Social Chair. If two people are interested in being photographers, we can consider splitting that role. Each would earn half of the point requirement. If you are interested, or would like to learn more, please contact Jill Manguikian ([email protected]).
4. If anyone is interested in training as an official (referee, starter, stroke & turn judge), NVSL will be having clinics for new officials as well as recertifications in May and June. Please reach out to the team reps or Mark McNeely ([email protected]) if you are interested.
5. CCH will be in NVSL Division 13 for Summer 2026. The schedule for Saturday A-meets has been updated in the Google Calendar and on the website. The schedule for the B-meets will be posted on the website by March 28th. Practice dates and times are the same as last year and are posted online as well as in the team google calendar.
