First, the obligatory registration for the 2024 season is open! Start the registration process on the new website HERE.

Pottery Event

After some supply issues last year canceled last year’s pottery fundraising event, it is back again this year!

Please note this event is NOT restricted to swim team members. Friends and family members are all invited.

Paint Your Own Pottery: Create Like Crazy Fairfax is offering three (3) different pottery items for kids and adults alike.

Here is how it works:

1. Order any of the items marked as CCH Fundraiser from the Create Like Crazy website HERE.
2. Items include a Shark, Mermaid Tile and a Coiled Bowl.
3. Attend our pottery painting event at the CCH Pool Pavilion on April 27 from 3:30 to 5pm. All your pre-ordered pottery items will be there along with our volunteer staff to assist with painting.
4. At the end of the event the Paint your Own Pottery staff will collect the items for finishing in the kiln.
5. Pickup your finished pieces at the pool once they are completed - date TBD.

Also, note a team rep will be in attendance if you have any questions about the swim team or would like some assistance with the new registration process.

Volunteers

We are looking for two volunteers to help with the pottery event. This is a great opportunity to earn some volunteer points to be used towards the 2024 season.

Also, please note, as part of Swimtopia transition we are moving to a full point volunteer system. What does this mean? … not much really, every point value for last year's jobs will be doubled. The volunteer point total per family will be determined closer to season when we have a firmer roster totals.
