    Coaches

Our coaches have been finalized for the upcoming season. We have a few familiar faces and a big surprise. Without further adieu…

    Jason Lu
    Head Coach
Jason has been swimming since he was 8 years old. He grew up in Southern California and swam for the Pleasant Valley Swim Team. He swam all four years at Pomona College and was awarded the 2022 Pomona-Pitzer Male Student Athlete of the Year Award. Jason loves swimming because it is a sport where it is equally important to be serious and dedicated as it is to be goofy and fun! He is so excited to get to know the CCH community and make amazing memories with the swimmers. Let's get ready for some good times and good times.

    Ben Ogletree
    Assistant Coach
Ben has been swimming at CCH since he was eight years old and club swim since he was 9. He has swum for Victory Lane Aquatic Club and the Fairfax Foxes from the ages of 9-17 and all for four years with his high school team at Bishop O’Connell. He was captain of my high school team as a Senior and a junior coach for four years. He loves to coach swimmers so that they may improve their strokes and make the swim team the most fun it can be. He loves swimming in the NVSL mostly because this is where he met some of my best friends and made great memories, and he can’t wait to help others have the same great experiences during their time at CCH this summer.

    Aaron Tingley
    Assistant Coach - Evening Practices
Aaron has been swimming since he was 6 years old. He swam on the Woodley Warriors, another NVSL team, from ages 6-18, and also swam for The Fish and George C. Marshall High School. He recently graduated from the College of William and Mary, being a member of their Division 1 Men's swimming team all 4 years and posting top-10 times in school history in the 50 and 100 yard backstroke. He was a coach for CCH in 2021 and 2022, and is now returning for one final year before moving to Paraguay to join the countries Peace Corps Program. He loves to coach, and aims to combine his extensive swimming experience with his positive energy and enthusiasm to help lead the Sharks to a fun and successful season!

    Ashley McNeely
    Student Coach
Ashley has been swimming at CCH since I was 6. She swam all four years at High school and was captain her senior year. She’s junior coached for five years and coached for the CCH winter swim team this past year. She loves swimming cause she enjoys hanging out with her fellow swimmers and getting a refreshing start to her day. She’s super excited to be coaching at CCH this year after swimming here her whole life and can’t wait to see everyone!

    Emma Mont
    Student Coach
Hi, I’m Emma! I have been swimming at CCH since I was 4 years old and club swimming since I was 7. I swam for Victory Lane Aquatic Club, the Potomac Marlins from ages 7-17, and all four years with my high school team at Paul VI. I love coaching swimmers so that they may learn to love this sport and have as much fun as they can. I love swimming because it is where I met some of my best friends and continue to meet great people. I hope to create a fun environment and have an undefeated season this upcoming summer.
